The restaurant is a great date-night spot for the early days of a relationship as it's quiet enough to talk, but there's also enough activity surrounding you to generate conversation. It has a number of locations, although the West Adams restaurant is my most convenient option, and its colorful string-light-adorned patio is perfect for temperate Los Angeles nights. Mizlala is perhaps an underdog here, but it's my favorite spot.
